The last Halloween in NZ

Hi tonight was Halloween night witch means people dress up in there costumes and go around people's house's and say TRICK OR TREAT.  After you have said that they shall give you candy or other wise they have no candy or they have ran out but this is a photo of what me and my sister looked like.

And here is a photo of me and what I was wearing I was a dead sailor and my sister was a vampire. 

I love Halloween because I love the costumes I get to wear but I also love getting candy.   I got lot's of candy because of my costume.  Also here is a photo of how much candy I got. 

This dose not look like much but this is all I need yummy!!!

 

Nutrition learning

This term I have been learning about Nutrition it is all about staying healthy.  What we were learning about is good stuff to have and bad stuff to eat or drink. I will give you some good Nutrition to have like protein, Fibre, Fruit and vegetables.  Now the bad things that we should not have like Sugar, Trans - saturated fats  so these are some thing that we should not have an things that we should have.

The sunny holiday

Orientation:

During the holidays, I was in Australia for 3 weeks with my Mum, Sister and Dad.  In Australia we went to the theme parks,  playground,  swimming pool,  BBQ at mates house  and netball trials.

Story:

My Mum, sister and I  woke up on one hot and sunny morning.  For breakfast my family  had some bananas on toast. Firstly I got dressed for the theme parks I also had to put on some sunscreen on because it was really sunny and I did not want to get burnt.

After we got to dreamworld and whitewater world and  we saw all these giant rides that we wanted to go on. We had to try get on all of them but we didn't get to so the ones we went on are called tower of terror, The claw,  Log ride, Golden rush, Motorbike ride, Wipeout and yeah I think there was more rides but I do not remember the rest.

Secondly we went to my mum and dad’s mates house for a BBQ we played games like Tag, Hide & seek, Blind man's bluff and marco polo. I had a lot of fun at my mum and dad’s mates house. But after the BBQ my friend ended up staying at my place for two nights.  

After that we went home and we have a pool at home so we went for a little swim while there is still a little light in the day.

Finally me and my sister got a bit tired so we got the mattress out of the closet and put it in the lounge so me and my sister can go for a little nap.

Conclusion:

I really enjoyed my holiday because it had nice weather great places to go and I just loved it. The best thing I did in Australia was going to the theme parks and seeing my cousins.  After we finished our amazing holiday we went to the airport and got on the plane and had to sit there for 3 hours until we got to New Zealand.

Coming back to NZ

Well my time has come being in Aussie but I think it is time to come back to my home town NZ.  I am felling really happy about coming back to NZ to see my brother, friends and my 2 little puppy's.  I also can not wait till I get back to school so I can start my brain up and get out of that holiday mode and also learn something new at school.  Well that is all my time done here,  hope you enijoyed this post and leave a comment.

Australia Travel

Hi everyone guess where I am?  if you said the airport you are correct I am flying out to Australia today for a 3 week holiday.  I will miss the first week of school and on the first week of school we get fish and chips and I will miss out.  We also have swimming everyday for the next 2 weeks so I will be there for the second  week of swimming and school .  Anyway I will keep posting on my blog if my Chromebook dose not die but anyway I will enjoy the rest of my holiday in the nice warm sun bye bye everyone.

The Disconnected Dance Crew

 This term it was sandpit term which means we start something new.  The new thing we did was movie making.  What we did last time for sandpit term is we made a movie but it was just one movie with almost everyone in it but this term it was going to be better, we changed it to 15 groups with about 2 - 5 people in each group.  In our group we had me Kiesha, Samicle, Siola and Sofia.  Then we had to think about what the movie was going to be about. We heard a song called one dance then we thought of doing that song because we had heaps of moves for that song. Once we got all the dance moves sorted, we started to record our first video which was the start of the song.  It took us a while to do our first scene but once we did it we were flying through all the scenes and we finished 3 days before the film festival.  Overall I thought it was really challenging because when we got on the iMac we had to find the videos and put them in the right order of the song and we had to try make the videos so it goes on all the way to the end of the song.  What I liked about my movie is that we got to show it in assembly before anyone elses and there was some little kids dancing while they were watching the video and coping the moves.
