First Draft

The calf’s worst day ever!

It was one bright and sunny day at savanna lake. I was walking with the herd around the water hole.
My dad was the top buffaloe of the herd I knew I would be safe after all I am just a calf.
Suddenly my father the the leader of the herd stomp and roar and smelled fear. I knew something went wrong I  rushed to the front and then he said turn back now. Then the herd and I ran as fast as we could I knew they were after me so I ran towards the river bank. Boom goes the lion for me as his prey I made a sign with my family saying they will be back for me so I knew I had to stay strong so I did.  Then they got me and charged me into the water I knew there was going to be more danger. Then suddenly the splash of the water a crocodile pounced out of the water grabbed a bit of my tail then a bigger bite `was almost my whole body the big tuff croc thought he had me but no the big fisous lion had a gang which means more teeth for them and less for the big bad croc. But the fishous lions defeated the crocodile felt horrible because then there is no prey to hunt down but it was the lions lucky day or was it. They got rid of one victim now there was the herd of buffaloes back to save me as they said they would. The lions could smell fear they knew to turn back they do have the teeth but not much of them because the buffaloes had a lot of horns which means more help. Mean while we were waiting in the tall dry and crusty grass as the lions had slobber all over their mouths which means they're hungry but once the big mad buffalo charged at one of the lens the rest of them fell back which means turn back now it is not worth it anymore. As soon as there was the last lion standing I knew I was going to be safe I still had some of that agility inside me I made it back to the herd had some bruises but I could fix that so that is how my herd of buffaloes defeated the lions to get me back.

The terrible battle has ended we can go back to the good times.

Then the lions spot something and they were hungry so they had to get ready to hunt.
Boom! There go the lions pounced and ran after the  baby calf away from the family.
The lions are having are fighting with hunger while the crocodile was going to give up.
So the lion defeated the crocodile and pulled the calf to the bank and herd the strong buffaloes come together  to fight for their calf.

So they ran the lions away from the calf the lions were scared of the big strong buffaloes so they ran away like the other lions did.
Their was one left he knew he could not defend himself so now he pounce away then the buffaloes felt good with a lot of pride.

Then their was only 1 lion left and they could not keep their ground so the last lion left and the baby calf was still alive and made it back to the family.
